Leslie Gerber and Paul Unnerstall, both of Washington, were united in marriage Sept. 10, 2011, at St. Francis Borgia Church, Washington. Father Andrew Sigmund officiated at the ceremony.

Bride’s parents are Phil and Kathy Gerber, Washington. Groom’s parents are Rich and Marie Unnerstall, Washington.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Serving as maid of honor was Lauren Gerber, Washington. Matron of honor was Di Carter, St. Peters. Bridesmaids were Colleen Winning, Marthasville, Stacie Tinsley, Tammy Clarke, both of Washington, Kristin Baumgarth, Falls Church, Va., Anna Schell, Webster Groves, Heidi Bolzenius, McKinney, Texas, Monica Vernaci and Marie Vernaci, both of Washington.

Best man was Chris Unnerstall, Webster Groves. Groomsmen were Dave Schweich, Washington, Brian O’Rourke, St. Louis, Steve Unnerstall, Sam Unnerstall, Frank Hemmer, Chris Anderson, Jason Rufkahr, JD Kelly and Matt Halmich, all of Washington.

Flower girl was Audrey Holdmeier, Washington. Ring bearer was Jude Unnerstall, Washington.

Candlelighters were Jennifer Hemmer, Springfield, and Claire Unnerstall, Washington. Ushers were Ben Unnerstall and Alex Unnerstall, both of Webster Groves.

A reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Washington.

The bride is a graduate of Washington High School and Regency Beauty Institute.

The groom is a graduate of St. Francis Borgia Regional High School and Central Missouri State University.

After a wedding trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple reside in Washington.
