Kate Marie Mantle, Kansas City, and Nathan Dean Nold, Platte City, were united in marriage July 27, 2013, at 1 p.m. at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, Washington. The Rev. Brian Hecktor officiated at the ceremony.
Bride’s parents are Dan and Rose Mantle, Washington. Groom’s parents are Jeff Nold, Savannah, and Kim Turner, Platte City.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Serving as maid of honor was Kelly Mantle, Washington, bride’s sister. Matron of honor was Marie Moore, Branson. Bridesmaids were Jessica Dyson, Erin Lause, both of Washington, Krista Wellenkamp, Alton, Ill., Elizabeth Hagan, Kansas City, and Jordan Roberts, Versailles, Ky.
Best man was Jon Roberts, Versailles, Ky. Groomsmen were Ryan Christensen, Wichita, Kan., groom’s cousin, Kyle Mantle and Collin Mantle, both of Washington, bride’s brothers, Caleb Curnutt, Agency, John Hagan, Kansas City, and Josh Fisher, San Diego, Calif.
Flower girls were Maggie Licklider, Washington, bride’s cousin, Adalyn Buzbee, Springfield, groom’s cousin, and Kylie Macias, Washington, bride’s goddaughter.
Ring bearer was Owen Buzbee, Springfield, groom’s cousin.
Ushers were Jordan Foster, Charlotte, N.C., Christopher Pohtos, Washington, bride’s cousin, and Joe Backes, Carrollton.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Sarah Stock-Deckert and Monica Walters.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of St. Francis Borgia Regional High School and a 2009 graduate of Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at St. Luke’s South Hospital in Overland Park, Kan.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Savannah High School, Savannah, and a 2007 graduate of the University of Missouri Rolla with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering. He is employed as a regional service manager for Siemens.
After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple reside in Platte City.
