Flinn 65th Wedding Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Flinn, Pacific, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, with a dinner at their home hosted by their children, Charles Flinn and wife Diana, Nancy Moenster and husband Jim and Don Flinn and wife Connie. Also present were grandchildren and spouses, great-grandchildren and niece Barbara McComb and husband B.J. from Roseville, Calif.
Mr. Flinn and the former Miss Betty Wasek were united in marriage Sept. 26, 1947, at Bethany Evangelical Reformed Church in St. Louis. The Rev. Sheer officiated at the ceremony.
Robert Towers served as best man, and Betty Jeanne Quigley served as maid of honor. The reception was held at a hotel in downtown St. Louis, followed by a honeymoon trip to Lazy Days resort near Bagnell Dam and Cedar Point Resort near Branson.
