Jody Marie Pate and Jared Scott Gildehaus were united in marriage Jan. 5, 2013, at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Dutzow. Father Eugene Robertson officiated at the ceremony.

Bride’s parents are Donna and the late Dale Pate. Groom’s parents are Jeff and Peggy Gildehaus.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother.

Serving as matron of honor was Jamie Weber, Union. Bridesmaids were Jamie Groner, Berger, Sarah Howard, Mission, Kan., Kim Pate, Stephanie Mueller, Marthasville, Kara Pate, Washington, Cindy Irwin, New Haven, and Heather Reed, Union.

Best man was Robert Gildehaus, Marthasville. Groomsmen were Adam Pate, David Grafrath, Garrett Gratza, Marthasville, Brian Pate, Ryan Gildehaus, Shane Strubberg, Washington, and Adam Monroe, Villa Ridge.

Flower girl was Mikayla Weber, bride’s niece. Ring bearers were William Weber and Devon Pate, bride’s nephews.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Joseph Eckelkamp, organist, and Rebecca Brinker, soloist.

A reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Washington. Music/entertainment was provided by Jim Brueggenjohann.

After a wedding trip to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, the couple reside in Washington.
