Mr. and Mrs. Kevin and Annette Hellmann, Washington, announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Hellmann, Washington, to Mitchell Spaeth, West Bend, Wis., son of Mr. and Mrs. Ron and Brenda Spaeth, Campbellsport, Wis. (formerly of West Bend, Wis.)

Katherine is a 2003 graduate of Washington High School and a 2007 graduate of Saint Louis University, with a Bachelor of Science in investigative and medical sciences. She is employed by Sigma-Aldrich SAFC Hitech as business development manager.

Mitchell is a 2003 graduate of West Bend West High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. He is employed by Budrovich Inc. as an engineer.

The couple plan a May 11, 2013, wedding at St. Francis Borgia Church, Washington.
