Kimberly Sue Unnerstall, Washington, and Zachary Thomas Leamon Blemker, Vincennes, Ind., were united in marriage Aug. 25, 2012, at St. Francis Borgia Church, Washington. Father Andrew Sigmund officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony.
Bride’s parents are Ron and Donna Unnerstall. Groom’s parents are Nita and the late Jerry Blemker.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Serving as maid of honor was Michelle Unnerstall, Washington. Bridesmaids were Jill McNeil, Chatham, Ill.; Patti Parks, Carbondale, Ill.; Megan Blemker, Gretchen Blemker, both of Nashville, Tenn.; and Cammi Blemker, Hendersonville, Tenn.
Best man was Erik Blemker, Hendersonville, Tenn. Groomsmen were Brian McNeil, Chatham, Ill.; Blair Parks, Carbondale, Ill.; James King, Nashville, Tenn.; Tim Bush, Tampa, Fla.; and Daryl Graham, Kansas City, Kan.
Flower girls were Genevieve Blemker, Hendersonville, Tenn.; and Maggie McNeil, Chatham, Ill. Ring bearer was Simon Blemker, Hendersonville, Tenn.
Ushers were Rodney Lopez, Vincennes, Ind., and Justin Allemann, Washington.
A reception was held at the Washington Elks Hall with music/entertainment by Big Daddy Sound.
The bride graduated from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School. She has a bachelor’s in exercise science from Southeast Missouri State University and a master’s in occupational therapy from St. Louis University. She is employed as an occupational therapist at the Blakeford of Green Hills in Nashville, Tenn.
The groom graduated from Franklin High School, Vincennes, Ind., and has a master’s in nutrition and exercise science from Southeast Missouri State University. He is employed as a territory manager selling medical devices for Eloquest Healthcare, Nashville, Tenn.
After a wedding trip to Mexico, the couple reside in Nashville, Tenn.
