Lauren Nicole Hileman and Erik Jay Heitman, both of Union, were united in marriage July 21, 2012, at St. Gertrude Church, Krakow. The Rev. Richard Coerver officiated at the ceremony.

Bride’s parents are Dave and Robin Hileman, Union. Groom’s parents are Leah Heitman, Union, and Andy Heitman, Washington.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Serving as maid of honor was Sarah Jackson, Washington. Matron of honor was Sara Starling, bride’s sister, Union. Bridesmaids were Courtney Aholt, Union, and Diana Hileman, Marshfield, Wis., bride’s cousin. Junior bridesmaid was Sami Starling, bride’s niece, Union.

Best man was Max Kutilek, Washington. Groomsmen were Joey Siebert, Jay Daugherty, Brian Sulltrop and Matt Heitman, groom’s brother, all of Washington.

Ring bearer was Trevor Starling, Union, bride’s nephew.

Ushers were Matt Bourne, Washington, Tyler Starling, Union, bride’s nephew, Tim Zumsteg, Tony Boland, both of Washington, and Jake Hopkins, Warrensburg.

A reception was held at the Elk’s Lodge.

The bride graduated from Union High School in 2009 and is attending Sanford-Brown College studying to become a veterinarian technician. She expects to graduate in June 2013. She currently is employed as a cashier at PetSmart.

The groom graduated from Washington High School in 2009 and from Ranken Technical College in 2011 with an associate’s degree in automotive maintenance. He is employed as a mechanic at First Student Bus.

The couple reside in Union.
