Elizabeth Rose “Rosie” Weilbacher and Robert William Betz were united in marriage July 13, 2013, at The Capitol Theatre in Waterloo, Ill. Dennis Graul, bride’s uncle, officiated at the ceremony.
Bride’s parents are Ed and Kathi Weilbacher, Waterloo, Ill. Groom’s parents are John and Barb Betz, Pacific.
Serving as maid of honor was Angie (Schmitt) Yuen. Bridesmaids were Megan Ingram, Julie Mudd, Karla Guebert and Karen (Schmitt) Betz, groom’s sister-in-law.
Best man was Michael Betz, groom’s brother. Groomsmen were Derek Strauser, Adam Schmitt, Garrett Bentley and John Weilbacher, bride’s brother.
Ushers were Mike and Charles Richter, bride’s cousins, and Nolan and Keith Smith, groom’s cousins.
A reception was held at The Holiday Inn, South St. Louis.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Waterloo High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. She is employed as a sales representative for eBioscience, covering Illinois and Missouri.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of St. Francis Borgia Regional High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. In 2012, he graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a master’s in business administration. He is employed as a project engineer with Ameren Missouri.
After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple reside in St. Louis.
