Jeff and Peggy Gildehaus, Marthasville, announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah M. Gildehaus, Mission, Kan., to Kenneth B. Howard, Mission, Kan., son of Fred and Susanne Howard, Goddard, Kan.

Sarah graduated from Washington High School in 2002 and from Missouri State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in fashion merchandising and management. She is employed as a teacher at Our Lady’s Montessori School in Roeland Park, Kan.

Kenneth graduated from Goddard High School, Goddard, Kan., in 2000, from Washburn University in 2006 with a BBA in finance, and from Park University in 2010 with an MBA. He is employed by State Street Corporation.

The couple plan a Sept. 8, 2012, wedding at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Dutzow.
