Daniel and Lisa Volkman, Washington, announce the engagement of their daughter, Dana Marie Volkman, Washington, to Martin Joseph Marquart, Washington, son of Everet and Kathleen Marquart, Washington.

Dana graduated from Washington High School in 2001 and from Southeast Missouri State University in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She is employed as a teacher at St. Francis Borgia Regional High School and is the owner of Photogenics on Location in Washington.

Joe graduated from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in 2001 and is finishing his bachelor’s degree in secondary education at Missouri Baptist University. He is employed by Legacy Embroidery.

The couple plan an April 6, 2013, wedding at St. Francis Borgia Church, Washington.
