Marics-Eckstein Wedding Vows Read

Jennifer Christine Eckstein and Jeffrey William Marics were united in marriage Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, on a scenic hillside at the Eckstein family farm in Beaufort. The Rev. Judi Davis and Father Kevin Schmittgens officiated at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.

Bride’s parents are Carol and Vernon Eckstein, Beaufort. Groom’s parents are Pat and Ron Faupel, Monroe Township, N.J.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Serving as matron of honor was Cheryl Voss, Beaufort, bride’s sister. Bridesmaids were Michelle Young, Union, bride’s sister, and Christy Marics, Edison, N.J., groom’s daughter. Junior bridesmaid was Emily Young, Union, bride’s niece.

Best man was Nick Marics, Newark, Del., groom’s son. Groomsmen were Al Didzbalis, Edison, N.J., and Bill Salvanto, Long Branch, N.J. Junior groomsman was Kyle O’Neill, Manasquan, N.J., groom’s nephew.

Ring bearer was Zach O’Neill, Manasquan, N.J., groom’s nephew.

Reader was Julie Roccanova, Fairlawn, N.J., groom’s niece. Ushers were Blake Voss, Beaufort, and Joseph Young, Union, bride’s nephews.

Flowers were by Jill Bolzenius.

A prerehearsal party was held at St. Jordan’s Creek Winery, Beaufort. A rehearsal dinner was held at The Old Dutch Hotel and Tavern, Washington.

A reception was held at the bride’s parents’ home followed by dinner at Schmittgens Hall.

The bride is a 1994 graduate of Union High School and a 1998 graduate of the University of Missouri-Rolla with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. She is employed as a brewmaster at InBev, Columbus, Ohio.

The groom attended schools in New Jersey and was previously employed at InBev in Newark, N.J.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple reside in Ostrander, Ohio.
