Welge 50th Wedding Anniversary
Ray and Dot Welge, Marthasville, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 27, 2012, with a dinner and dance for relatives and friends at the American Legion Hall, Washington. Mr. Welge and the former Miss Dorothy Marie Splitt were united in marriage Oct. 27, 1962, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Truesdale.
Dot is an Air Force veteran, and Ray is a retired Navy master chief.
Their children are Norman Smallwood and wife, Sandy, West Simsbury, Conn.; and Wanda Welge, Washington. They also have four grandchildren, Quinten Smallwood, Brandt Smallwood, Max Welge and Hollie Thompson; one grandson-in-law, Stephen Thompson; and one great-grandchild, Luna Fae Thompson.
