Stephanie Antoinette Watters and Donald Fred Fitzgerald Jr., both of St. Clair, were united in marriage Oct. 5, 2013, at 4 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church in St. Clair. Pastor Charles Lynn Stroup officiated at the ceremony.
The bride wore an exquisite strapless taffeta ball gown made of silk with seed pearls covering the bodice and her entire train.
Bride’s parents are Harry Alfred Watters II and Debbie Antoinette Ashworth. Groom’s parents are Donald Fred Fitzgerald Sr. and Jan Marie Settles.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Serving as maid of honor was Erica Quennoz, St. Clair, bride’s sister. Bridesmaids were Kristen Bruns, Katie McKinney, Lisa Fisher, Krista Richardson and Carol Presley.
Best man was Anthony Maurer, Arnold. Groomsmen were Gary Luke, Scott Fitzgerald, Jeff Gardner, Steve Just and Eddie Presley.
Flower girl was Kiylyn Long, and ring bearer was Cameron Long, both of St. Clair.
Music for the wedding ceremony was provided by soloist Marilyn Cox.
The bride and groom enjoyed a beautiful carriage ride after their wedding ceremony through town before joining their guests at their fall-themed reception held at The Eagles Hall in Pacific. Music and entertainment was provided by Hillbilly Authority, St. Louis.
Fabric balloons were lit and set off into the sunset at the reception to commemorate the joyous occasion.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of St. Clair High School and is employed as a marketing coordinator at Hillermann’s Nursery & Florist in Washington.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of St. Clair High School and a graduate of Ranken Technical College. He is employed at Cowtown USA, Cuba, Mo.
The happy couple celebrated their honeymoon with a wedding trip to Pensacola, Fla., and a cruise to Mexico, Honduras and Belize. The couple will begin their new life together and reside at their new home in St. Clair.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Fitzgerald thank family and friends for all their love and support and have asked God’s blessings as they begin their new life together.
