Amanda Kay Rolwes and Jacob Michael Scheer, Washington, were united in marriage Sept. 29, 2012, at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Washington. Pastor Paul Koch officiated at the ceremony.

Bride’s parents are Kenneth and Carol Rolwes, Augusta. Groom’s parents are John and Sharon Scheer, New Haven.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Serving as matron of honor was Heather Scheidegger, bride’s sister, Washington. Bridesmaids were Julie Hoberock, Lafayette, Ind., Hannah Lupardus, St. Louis, Maggie Zick, Washington, Tonya Reynolds, Columbia, Sophie Pyrtle, Chillicothe, and Kathleen Scheer, groom’s sister, New Haven.

Best man was Paul Scheer, groom’s brother, New Haven. Groomsmen were Dan Scheer, groom’s brother, New Haven, Ryan Steinhoff, groom’s cousin, Winnipeg, MB, Luke Meyer, groom’s cousin, Washington, Adam Meyer, groom’s cousin, Warrenton, Shawn Downey, New Haven, and Zach Scheidegger, bride’s brother-in-law, Washington. Junior groomsman was Sam Scheer, groom’s brother, New Haven.

Flower girl was Nola Meyer, groom’s cousin, Warrenton. Ring bearer was Cole Scheidegger, bride’s nephew, Washington.

Ushers were Reji Jacob, Ballwin, and Daniel Bauer, Old Monroe.

A reception was held at the Elks Hall, Washington.

The bride graduated from Washington High School in 2004 and from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a master’s in accountancy in 2009. She is employed as a tax analyst with RGA Reinsurance, Chesterfield.

The groom graduated from New Haven High School in 2003 and from Truman State University with a bachelor’s in biology in 2007. He is employed as a senior lab technician with Covidien, St. Louis.

After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple reside in Washington.
