Erin Lynn Bauer and Allen William Scheer, both of New Haven, were united in marriage June 16, 2012, at Assumption Catholic Church, New Haven. The Rev. John C. Deken officiated at the ceremony.

Bride’s parents are Dave and Kelly Bauer, New Haven. Groom’s parents are Wayne and Beverly Scheer, New Haven.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Serving as maid of honor was Emily Bauer, bride’s sister, New Haven. Bridesmaids were Nicole Bailey, New Haven, Ali Pollock, Leawood, Kan., Karen Scheer and Wendy Olerichs, both of New Haven.

Best man was Charlie Scheer, groom’s brother, New Haven. Groomsmen were Jeff Laune, Dustin Pelster, Lance Gerlemann, all of New Haven, and Sam Voss, Morrison.

Flower girls were Rachel Otten and Ava Olerichs, both of New Haven. Ring bearers were David Otten, Dane Olerichs, Kyle Scheer and Evan Scheer, all of New Haven.

Ushers were Jeremy Brown, Chad Weiser and Matthew Otten, all of New Haven.

A reception was held at the Elks Lodge, Washington.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of New Haven High School and a 2010 graduate of Truman State University with a Master of Arts in education. She is employed by the School District of Washington as a first-grade teacher at Fifth Street Elementary.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of New Haven High School. He is employed by Dissen Enterprises Inc. as a truck driver/farmer.

After a wedding trip to Maui, the couple reside in New Haven.
