Kelly Maureen Rose and Michael Gerard Vitale were united in marriage Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Washington. Father Richard Perl, S.J., bride’s uncle, and Monsignor Moussa Joseph, St. Raymond’s Cathedral, officiated at the 1 p.m. nuptial Mass.

Bride’s parents are Carolyn and the late Terry Rose, Washington. Groom’s parents are Michelle and Damien Vitale, St. Louis.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother.

Serving as matrons of honor were Stephanie Bleser, St. Charles, and Leslie Corley, Washington, bride’s sisters. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Westphal, St. Louis, Martina Jackson, St. Louis, Kathryn Wallach, Lebanon, Mo., and Julianna Zimmerman, St. Louis.

Best men were David Westphal Jr., St. Louis, and Andy Vitale, Wildwood, groom’s cousins. Groomsmen were Adam Bleser, St. Charles, Joey Corley, Washington, bride’s brothers-in-law, Jason Brendel, St. Louis, and Matt Tuggle, House Springs.

Junior bridesmaids were Abby Matt, Washington, bride’s cousin, and Sarah Matt, Washington, bride’s godchild.

Flower girls were Nora Corley, Washington, couple’s godchild, and Charlotte Bleser, St. Charles, bride’s niece.

Ring bearers were Owen Corley, Washington, bride’s nephew, and Alex Bleser, St. Charles, bride’s godchild.

Ushers were Paul Vitale, Wildwood, groom’s cousin, Dan Fuchs, Matt Staebel, Jim Heath and Doug Wright, all of St. Louis.

Offertory gift bearers were David Sr. and Effie Westphal, St. Louis, groom’s uncle and aunt.

Readers were Terry Matt, Washington, bride’s godfather, Jan Lott, Defiance, and Joe Vitale, Wildwood, groom’s cousins.

Serving the Mass was Danny Kavanaugh of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary. Musicians were The Rosewood Ensemble. Program attendant was Alyson Dykes, Eureka.

A reception was held at The Vineyard at Riverbend Chapel, Washington.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of St. Francis Borgia Regional High School and a 2009 graduate of Fontbonne University, St. Louis, with a Bachelor of Science in early childhood education. She is employed by the Archdiocese of St. Louis at Assumption Early Learning Center.

The groom is a 2006 graduate of St. John Vianney High School, Kirkwood, and a 2010 graduate of Fontbonne University, St. Louis, with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and sports management. He is employed by BJC Healthcare, St. Louis, as a project manager.

After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple reside in Crestwood.
