Michael and Joyce Brinkmann, Union, announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Brinkmann, Kansas City, to Daniel Mann, Kansas City, son of Allen and Laura Mann, Lake Sherwood.

Courtney graduated from Washington High School in 2008 and is attending the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Pharmacy with plans of graduating in 2014 as a Pharm.D.

Daniel graduated from Washington High School in 2008 and graduated from the University of MIssouri-Kansas City with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering in 2012. He currently is captain of the UMKC cross country and track and field teams and is working on his master’s degree in civil engineering with plans of graduating in 2013.

The couple plan a June 8, 2013, wedding at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Washington.
