Sarah Elizabeth Smith, Rolla, and Jonathan Paul Monzyk, Washington, were united in marriage July 12, 2012, in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Bride’s parents are Roger and Karla Smith, Rolla. Groom’s parents are Robert and Paulette Monzyk, Washington.

The bride graduated from Rolla Senior High School in 2005, from the University of Missouri in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree. She will graduate from Drury University in 2013 with a master’s in elementary education. She is employed by JanTec Inc., Fort Leonard Wood.

The groom is a graduate of Washington High School. He is employed by Leonard Masonry, St. Louis.

The couple spent their honeymoon at Now Resort.
