Christina Lorraine Ridgley, High Hill, and Samuel Edward Poggas, Union, were united in marriage May 31, 2014, at Church of the Risen Savior, Rhineland. The Rev. William Debo officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony.

Bride’s parents are Bob and Sharon Ridgley. Groom’s parents are Demosthenes “Danny” and Linda Poggas.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Serving as matron of honor was Jessica Fredrick, bride’s sister, Hermann. Bridesmaids were Tammy Ridgley, bride’s sister-in-law, Jonesburg; Amanda Rose, Jessica Rodgers, both of Montgomery City; Lauren Stamp, bride’s cousin, Linn; Wendi Busch, Hermann; Alicia Frye, St. Charles; Christine Ridgley, bride’s sister-in-law, High Hill; and Tiffany Poggas, groom’s sister-in-law, Union. Junior bridesmaid was Avery Ridgley, bride’s niece, Jonesburg.

Best men were Shane Becker, Monett; and Travis McFarland, Union. Groomsmen were Dan Poggas, Gerald, Willy Poggas, Union, groom’s brothers; Alex Poggas, groom’s nephew, New Haven; Greg Wells, Bob Bradley, groom’s cousin, Matt Jenks, all of Union; and Joe Fredrick, bride’s brother-in-law, Hermann;

Miniature bride was Jillian Fredrick, bride’s niece, Hermann. Miniature groom was Keane Ridgley, bride’s nephew, High Hill.

Flower girls were Evelyn Poggas, groom’s niece, Union; and Avery Poggas, groom’s niece, Gerald.

Ring bearers were Jordan Fredrick, bride’s nephew, Hermann; and Rhett Poggas, groom’s nephew, Union.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Ruth Hulsey.

Ushers were Brady Poggas, groom’s nephew, Gerald; Dan Ridgley, bride’s brother, High Hill; and Tim Ridgley, bride’s brother, Jonesburg.

A reception was held at Valentine Hall, Starkenburg. Music/entertainment was provided by Big Daddy Sound.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Montgomery County R-II High School, a 2006 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia and a 2011 graduate of Lindenwood University where she earned a Master of Arts in school administration.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of Union R-XI and a 2012 graduate of East Central College with an associate’s degree. He is employed by Closed Loop Recycling as plant manager.

The couple reside in High Hill.
