Ricardo and Sara (Hernandez) Neira, Fort Worth, Texas, announce the birth of a firstborn son, Mateo William Neira. Born Feb. 24, 2013, at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital, Fort Worth, Texas, he weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces, and was 20.5 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Thomas and Valerie Hernandez, Morrison. Paternal grandmother is Doris Ravines vda. de Neira, Lima, Peru. Great-grandparents are Patricia Hernandez, St. Louis, and Bertha Vallejo vda. de Ravines, Lima, Peru.
