Cordia 70th Wedding Anniversary

Daniel and Alberta Cordia, St. Peters, celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary Oct. 27, 2012, with a small family gathering at St. Peters Manor hosted by their children. Along with family, others in attendance included James Lampson, brother; Jackie (Lampson) Zeitzmann, sister; Norby Huether, brother-in-law; nieces; nephews; and friends.

Mr. Cordia and the former Miss Lampson were united in marriage Oct. 10, 1942, at St. Ann’s Church, Clover Bottom.

The Cordias’ children are Al and Cheryl (Cordia) Moellenhoff, Dennis and Martha Cordia, Jack and Mickey (Cordia) Telford, Daryl and Jan Cordia, Dan and Serena Cordia, Steve and Bonnie Cordia, Terry and Shelly Cordia, Chris and Sabre Cordia and Mike and Lisa (Cordia) Hutchinson. The couple were preceded in death by an infant son, Gerard Cordia.

They have 35 grandchildren and spouses and 26 great-grandchildren.
