Ron and Donna Unnerstall, Washington, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kim Unnerstall, Nashville, Tenn., to Zak Blemker, Nashville, Tenn., son of Nita Blemker, Poplar Bluff, and the late Jerry Blemker.

Kim graduated from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in 2005 and from Southeast Missouri State University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and from St. Louis University in 2011 with a master’s degree in occupational therapy. She is employed as an occupational therapist at the Blakeford in Nashville, Tenn.

Zak graduated from Vincennes Lincoln High School in 2003, from Vincennes University in 2005 and from Southeast Missouri State University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies and a master’s in nutrition and exercise science. He is employed by Eloquest Healthcare Medical Device Sales.

The couple plan an Aug. 25, 2012, wedding at St. Francis Borgia Church, Washington.
