Sarah Veasman and Adam Toppmeyer were united in marriage April 21, 2012, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Washington. Father Bob Knight officiated at the ceremony.

Bride’s parents are Earl and Karen Veasman, St. Clair. Groom’s parents are Randy and Sue Ann Toppmeyer, Bethalto, Ill.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Serving as maid of honor was Emily Veasman, St. Louis. Bridesmaids were Becky Dickinson, Lonedell, Sherry Lipic, St. Louis, Jessica Robart, St. Clair, Kelly Olmsted, Alton, Ill., Aften Zurliene, Aviston, Ill., and Maggie Alexander, St. Clair.

Best man was Jason Woody, Wood River, Ill. Groomsmen were Andy Dreith, Moro, Ill., Danny Speciale, Brett Carney, both of St. Louis, Matt Olmsted, Alton, Ill., Jared Weston, St. Louis, and Jeremy Alexander, St. Clair.

Flower girls were Maddie Dickinson, Lonedell, Emersyn Olmsted, Alton, Ill., and Ava Alexander, St. Clair. Ring bearer was Josh Dickinson, Lonedell.

Ushers were Dean Bowman, Brad Lipic, both of St. Louis, and Brian Reinhart, Urbana, Ill.

A reception was held at Gala Event Center, Union.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of St. Clair High School and a 2007 graduate of Maryville University. She is employed as a senior paralegal at Medler & Roither, LLC.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Civic Memorial High School and a 2006 graduate of Maryville University. He is employed as a branch manager at Enterprise Holdings.

After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple reside in Oakville.
