Britni Rohe and Joshua Mitchell, both of Marthasville, were united in marriage Nov. 12, 2011, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Marthasville. Pastor George Dohm officiated at the ceremony.

Bride’s parents are Anthony and Sally Rohe, Marthasville. Groom’s parents are James Mitchell, Mishawaka, Ind., and Susan Shantz, Florence, Ky.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Serving as maid of honor was Kylie Rohe, bride’s sister, Marthasville. Junior maid of honor was Aaliah Mitchell, groom’s daughter, Cottleville, Ill. Bridesmaids were Ashleigh Mitchell, groom’s sister, Hebron, Ky., Mandy Halley, Lake Sherwood, Erin Schaefer, O’Fallon, Janna Thornton and Amanda Hackmann, both of Washington.

Best man was Nate Mitchell, groom’s brother, St. Charles. Junior best man was Elijah Mitchell, groom’s son, Cottleville, Ill. Groomsmen were Matt Schmutz, St. Peters, Jeff Doerr, Wright City, Dan Schaefer, O’Fallon, Eric Luechtefeld, Owensville, and Mike Cheek, Morrison.

Flower girl was Brylee Walker, groom’s niece, Hebron, Ky. Ring bearer was Jackson Schmutz, St. Peters.

Ushers were Curt Rohe, Lake Saint Louis, and Nick Rohe, Marthasville, bride’s cousins. Candlelighters were Isaiah DeVore and Jacob DeVore, bride’s cousins, both of Marthasville.

Guest book/program attendant was Trudy Heady, bride’s cousin.

Musicians were Cynthia Bowermaster and Susie Thierbach, “Avanti Violin Duo,” and Sally Rohe, bride’s mother. Vocalist was Robbin DeVore, bride’s cousin.

A dinner and dance reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Washington.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Washington High School and has an associate’s degree from East Central College. She is employed by the Warren County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

The groom is a 1996 graduate of Oskaloosa High School and a 2001 graduate of Eastern Missouri Police Academy. He is employed in law enforcement.
