Leslie Machelett, Union, and Andrew Joseph (AJ) Kaase, Beaufort, were united in marriage Oct. 20, 2012, in a 2 p.m. ceremony at the home of Joe and Rose Landing, groom’s grandparents. The Honorable David L. Hoven officiated at the ceremony.

Bride’s parents are Joe and Becky Machelett. Groom’s parents are Larkie and Patti Kaase.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Serving as maid of honor was Jessica Randolph, Union, bride’s cousin. Bridesmaids were Amanda Klenke, Union, Megan Peirick, Beaufort, Denise Winters, New Haven, Libby Selz and Lauren Campbell, Union.

Best man was Bryce Peirick, Beaufort, groom’s cousin. Groomsmen were Nathan Klenke, Travis Diez, groom’s cousin, both of Union, Charlie Hatfield, Casey Weaks, both of Leslie, and Jeremy Voss, Beaufort.

Flower girl was Allison Eckstein, Beaufort. Ring bearer was Jordan Beckmann, Beaufort, groom’s nephew.

Ushers were Jacob Machelett, Union, bride’s brother, and Keith Peirick, groom’s cousin.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Chas Fritzmeyer, Beaufort.

A reception was held at St. Joseph-Neier. Music/entertainment was provided by C&R Sound.

The bride has an Associate of Applied Science degree in interior design. She is employed as a secretary at Region Welding.

The groom is an operator at Underdown Trenching in Fenton.
