Butterfield-Myers Wedding Vows Read

Karen Elizabeth Myers and Gary Lee Butterfield Jr., both of Union, were united in marriage Aug. 11, 2012, on the beach in Gulf Shores, Ala. The Rev. Steve Horn officiated at the ceremony.

Bride’s parents are Elizabeth and Dennis Soetebier, Union. Groom’s parents are Gary Sr. and Barbara Butterfield, Boonville.

Serving as maid of honor was Kristy Myers, Union, bride’s sister. Bridesmaid was Cortney Myers, Union, bride’s niece.

Best man was Jules Parham, Washington, groom’s nephew. Groomsmen were Colton Souders, Washington, groom’s nephew, and Vincent Butterfield, Union, bride and groom’s son.

The bride graduated from Union High School in 2005 and from Webster University in 2010. She is employed as a reporter for The Missourian.

The groom is employed by The Grounds Guys of Union as general manager.

The couple reside in Union.
