Claudia Yampey and Keith Smith were united in marriage Oct. 19, 2012, at Capellania de los Migrantes in Asuncion, Paraguay, South America. The Rev. Jairo Francisco Guidini officiated at the ceremony.

Bride’s parents are Toribio and Nancy Yampey, Asuncion, Paraguay. Groom’s parents are Terrence and Marilyn Smith, Marthasville.

A dinner and dance reception was held at the Club Centenario, Asuncion, Paraguay.

The bride graduated from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in 2005 and from the Universidad Americana, Asuncion, Paraguay, in 2009 with a degree in international business and logistics.

The groom graduated from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in 2005 and from Southeast Missouri State University in 2009 with a degree in hospitality management and international business. He is employed by Hilton Worldwide in Miami, Fla.

After a weeklong honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico, the couple reside in Miami, Fla.
