Dr. Marianne Rhoda Lopez, Blue Springs, and Dennis Lawrence Rhodes, Washington, were united in marriage Sept. 1, 2012, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Kansas City. Father Don Farnan officiated at the ceremony.

Bride’s parents are Ruben and Aida Lopez, Blue Springs. Groom’s parents are John and Diane Rhodes, Washington.

Serving as maids of honor were Cecilia and Lindsey Lopez, Blue Springs. Bridesmaids were Dr. Jen Bickhaus, Dr. Katie Malan, Katrina Butler and Nicole Lombardo. Junior bridesmaids were Emma Meuser and Allison Quirk, groom’s nieces.

Best man was Dr. Jonathan Rhodes, Chicago, Ill. Groomsmen were Robert and Jacob Kliethermes, Aaron Griesheimer, Jerome Johnson and Ryan Payton.

Flower girls were Hannah Marie Quirk, groom’s niece, CJ Faustino and Jojo Ma, bride’s cousins. Ring bearers were Easton Quirk, groom’s nephew, and Brody Banks, bride’s cousin.

Ushers were Tim Gray, Joshua Lopez, Andrew Ross and Balar Wang.

The bride is a family medical resident at Rose Medical Center in Denver, Colo. The groom is the director of new media at the Senate Minority Office in Denver, Colo.

After a wedding trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the couple reside in Denver, Colo.
