Loretta L. Saebens, Owensville, and Michael D. Branson, Mount Sterling, announce the engagement of their daughter, Brandy Chantelle’jona Branson, to Michael Frank Myers, son of Gerard and Janet Myers, Owensville.

Brandy is a 2006 graduate of Owensville High School and a 2008 graduate of Washington University of Cosmetology. She is a part-time stylist at Great Reflections Salon of Owensville. She has continued her education within the health care field and is contemplating on furthering her success.

Michael is a 2000 graduate of Owensville High School. He completed the apprentice program through Ameren UE in 2009 and received his certification as a journeyman lineman. He is currently a journeyman lineman for Ameren Missouri and the owner of Myers Sawmill LLC.

The couple plan an Aug. 18, 2012, wedding.
