Rachel Holdmeier and Jacob Allender were united in marriage Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Washington. Father James Theby officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony.

Bride’s parents are Mike and Connie Holdmeier, Washington, and the groom’s parents are Rick and Carolyn Allender, Fenton.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Serving as maid of honor was Sarah Holycross. Bridesmaids were Sarah Allender, groom’s sister, Lauren Neier and Lauren Kloppe.

Best man was Michael Barrett. Groomsmen were Jonathan Marler, Zach Ledbetter and Andrew Todd.

Flower girl was Tenley Scheer, bride’s goddaughter.

Usher was James Lawson. Guestbook attendants were Molly and Makenzie Munsinger, bride’s cousins.

A dinner and reception were held at the beautiful Washington Brewery banquet hall.

The bride is a 2010 graduate of Washington High School and a graduate of Maryville University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics in 2013 and a master’s degree in education in 2015. She is employed by the Parkway School District as a high school math teacher.

The groom is a 2010 graduate of Rockwood Summit High School and is currently employed as a machinist.

After a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple reside in Washington.
