Kimberly Jo Liesmann and Mason Robert Adler were united in marriage June 17, 2017, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Washington. The Rev. Dr. Mark Bangert and the Rev. Matthew Hardaway officiated at the 2 p.m. double-ring ceremony.
Bride’s parents are Betty and Duane Liesmann, Marthasville. Groom’s parents are Lisa Harris, Grandview, and the late Andy Adler of Eldon.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
Serving as matron of honor was Melissa Liesmann, Washington, bride’s sister-in-law. Bridesmaids were Alyssa Blakeman, Lee’s Summit, Megan Homan, Lee’s Summit, Mary Wesselschmidt, Washington, bride’s aunt, and Tessa Miller, Kansas City, groom’s cousin.
Best man was Josh Zuercher, Albuquerque, N.M. Groomsmen were Ryan Morrison, Akron, Ohio, Aaron Kassulke, Lee’s Summit, Joseph Liesmann, Washington, bride’s brother, and Quinton Harris, Grandview, groom’s brother.
Flower girls were Annaliese Wesselschmidt and Ella Wesselschmidt, Washington, bride’s cousins, and Mahayla Harris, groom’s niece. Ring bearer was Raenhard Wesselschmidt IV, bride’s cousin.
Ushers were Matt Miller, groom’s uncle, and Reis Miller, groom’s cousin, both of Shawnee Mission, Kan.
A dinner and dance reception were held at the Washington Brewery banquet hall.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Washington High School. She earned a bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Central Missouri in 2013 and a master’s in public health nursing from Mid-America Nazarene University in 2017. She is employed by North Kansas City Hospital and the University of Central Missouri.
The groom is a 2007 graduate of Raytown High School and a 2017 graduate of Vatterott College. He is employed by Matheson Tri-Gas.
After a wedding trip to Maine, the couple reside in Lee’s Summit.
