A woman from Marthasville was injured Tuesday, Dec. 5, when the vehicle she was in struck a cow in the road on Highway 100 in Franklin County.

Linda S. Siebert, 69, Marthasville, was a passenger in the vehicle, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. She received moderate injuries in the crash, and was taken to Mercy Hospital Washington by Washington Area Ambulance.

The Toyota Camry, driven by Shawn P. Jaegers, 45, New Haven, was westbound on Highway 100 near Arch Road at 9:35 p.m. when it hit a cow in the roadway. Jaegers was not reported to be injured. Both occupants were wearing seat belts.
