Local ghost hunter Dan Terry, aka “The Spookstalker,” has written a new book, “Nothing Ever Happens in New Haven.”

A departure from the true haunting tales of Terry’s previous four books, “Nothing” is a true crime story. Terry introduces readers to the life of a police officer in small town America.

Having been a police officer in small towns since 1986, Terry knows that small cities have the same types of crimes as larger cities. The difference is it happens much more seldom, and when something tragic does occur, it affects more people.

“Nothing” covers three shoot-outs in the history of the New Haven Police Department. Two of the three ended with officers wounded and suspects dead.

The book also contains a chapter titled “Routine Patrol,” which covers stories from frightening high-speed car chases and sickening child endangerment cases to calls for evil rabbits holding vehicles hostage.

It is available at area bookstores and online at www.spookstalker.com.
