Washington Art Walk Today! Friday, Nov. 2, from 4 to 8 p.m.
A limo/shuttle service will be available from the Farmers’ Market on Main Street to art galleries not in walking distance.
Several area galleries will be open for visitors at no charge.
Galleries include the Jim Peters Gallery, Gary R. Lucy Gallery, Marty Coulter Artist, Larry Pogue Studio, The Art Center, The Depot Gallery, Art Can Do, the Missouri Photojournalism Hall of Fame, featuring Jeanne Miller Wood and East Central College art students.
“I would encourage (visitors) to come out and see what’s going on,” said Jennifer Higerd, planning committee member, adding that visitors will have the opportunity to browse for Christmas gifts, be inspired in their own creative endeavors, mix and mingle with friends, visit with and meet other art lovers and see what local artists have been up to.
Musical performances will be held at The Art Center and at the Gary R. Lucy Gallery from students of the Washington Academy of Music.
For more information, people may call The Art Center, 636-239-5544.
