Confederate Soldiers of Franklin County Topic of Next Round Table
The Franklin County Civil War Round Table will meet on November 14 at 7:00 PM in the Historic Court House located at 15 South Church Street, Union, Missouri. Please enter by using the east door by the flag poles.
Our guest speaker will be Ben Brown a teacher in the Missouri school system for 34 years. He served in the United States Army and has served on the boards of William Harney Foundation, Franklin County Veterans Hall of Honor, and Crawford County Historical Society.
He has published a number of articles and manuscripts on the Civil War era and has presented classes at East Central for the Franklin County Historical Society.
This Round Table event will discuss “The Dyson Men” of Franklin County who served with the 5th Missouri Infantry Regiment and 4th Missouri Cavalry Regiment Confederate States Army.
