City of New Haven, Missouri, Position Posting police Officer The City of New Haven, Missouri, is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time Police Officer. Full-time officers must hold a valid Missouri P.O.S.T. Class A Law Enforcement License and a valid Missouri Driver’s License. Applicant must be willing to work rotating shifts, holidays and weekends. The City of New Haven offers a benefit package which includes health insurance, holiday pay, sick and vacation pay. In addition the City of New Haven participates in the Missouri LAGERS retirement program. Applicant must pass pre-employment physical exam and drug test. Applicant must live within the geographical area of New Haven (the area south of the Missouri River, north of Hwy. 50, east city limits of Washington and west city limits of Hermann) within one year of date of employment.
