Library Director The City of Washington is accepting applications for the position of Library Director. The full-time exempt position requires supervisory and leadership ability to manage the operations of a busy community library. The Director is responsible for directing and supervising the day-to-day operations of the Washington Public Library, including, but not limited to, reference, circulation, programs, volunteer utilization, community outreach and relations, staff training and development, community database creation and maintenance, and collection development. Successful applicants will have the following: • Master’s degree in library science from an ALA accredited university. • At least five years of library or other related experience.
