industry, specializing in multifamily, student housing and assisted living
projects across the country.

Assistant Project Manager-Lighting
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to maintain and expand
relationships with our clients. Exercising judgment and discretion on significant
matters, we will train you to plan, direct and coordinate the supply of lighting
fixtures and other lighting goods for designated projects to ensure delivery of such
fixtures are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters.

• Talk with the customer to understand the customer’s delivery schedules and related
needs at least weekly after project turnover meeting.
• Review the contract and determine delivery time frames based on customer schedules.
• Work with purchasing, estimating and account executive as needed to manage the
buyout of the job.
• Review reports prepared by Lights-Direct personnel and modify delivery schedules if
needed and manage the delivery of the job.
• Prepare necessary change orders or special orders for light fixtures or other products
for customer as job changes require.
• Confer with Lights-Direct staff to provide technical advice and to resolve product
issues by communication with factory reps, searching out technical support personnel
to help the customer with field issues.

• Associate degree in business or construction; OR 1-2 years’ related experience
and/or training in lighting, construction or distribution.
• Ability to learn and master proprietary in-house software, as well as Sage
accounting/inventory software.
• Demonstrated ability to work and deliver consistently within established deadlines.
• Ability to work under direction of a project manager and actively learn our business.
