CNC Lathe Leadman We are a manufacturer of aerospace parts in North Kansas City, Mo. and currently have openings for Journeyman CNC Lathe Machinist/Leadman. We have multi-axis lathes with live tooling. Job Requirements: Must have 5 or more years' experience with CNC Lathe operation, set-up and programming (multi-axis lathes with live tooling), and ability to read mechanical blueprints. Description: Primary duties are set up and operate CNC Lathes with live tooling (Twin Spindle/Twin Turret turning center). Set up and operate CNC 2 axes lathes, drill press, mill and/or various secondary equipment. May be required to operate multiple machines simultaneously. Program and edits to CNC programs. Work with a wide variety of materials but mostly stainless steels, duplex stainless steels, Hastelloys and other nickel alloys, etc. Assist CNC Operators with setup and troubleshooting as required. Take a proactive approach to continuous improvement including productivity, quality, safety, and 5S/Lean. Proper documentation to quality records, manufacturing plans, SPC charts and data collection.
