PLZ Aeroscience is a growing aerosol packaging group with multiple locations. Last year, it was named to the St. Louis Business Journals Top 150 Privately Held Companies. PLZ manufactures custom aerosols for both the industrial and retail markets. Position Summary and Responsibilities The Packaging Assistant is responsible for assisting in the gathering of both in-house and customer product specifications from sales, purchasing and technical services; for assisting in the set-up of new products and following through with changes to existing products in the company's production software. After coordination of this information the ultimate integration of the information into the company's computer manufacturing system is then required. Minimum Qualifications The position of Packaging Assistant requires, at a minimum, a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control and material handling. This position also requires good computer skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel & Word). This position must have excellent attention to detail, a thorough approach to projects and an attitude of teamwork. Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of two years experience.
