The Pacific Area Chamber of Commerce will host Concert for a Cause, an evening of music, to benefit the Randy George Scoreboard Project.
George passed away this summer. He was the longtime superintendent for the Meramec Valley School District.
The event will be held at the Eagles Saturday, Oct. 22, from 4 to 11 p.m.
Cost is $20 in advance, or $25 at the gate. Only 800 tickets will be sold.
The Provels, which features Phillip “Spanky” Manaois on the organ, will highlight the series of performances. The band will be joined by Shotgun Creek, playing from 4 to 5 p.m.; Between the Rain, 5:30 to 7 p.m.; and The Castlewood Band, 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The Provels will close out the show, performing from 9 to 11 p.m. The Riverfront Times named the group, known for its R&B, soul, Blues and fusion sound, the 2016 Best R&B Band.
