A full-bodied experience – complete with delicious wine, vineyard running, and a mega after-party – is heading to Missouri for the very first time.

The Missouri Wine Wobble will hold its first annual wine run on Sat., April 28 at Cedar Lake Cellars located at 11008 Schreckengast Rd. in Wright City, Mo.  Doors open at 1:30 p.m. for those 21 years of age and older.  Participants can chose to run in the 1K, 5K or both races combined.  The 5k starts at 3 p.m., and the 1k at 4:45 p.m.  An after-race party with music provided by one of the area’s top DJs will take place from 6 to 10 p.m.

A variety of fun optional obstacles include The Wine Stopper, a 17-foot cargo net that runners will go up and over, and Bottle Shock, a series of small ascending and descending walls.

The race is timed for those in the 5K run.  Prizes will be awarded to the top three fastest runners, as well as for the best race costumes and best after-party dancers.

Tickets range from $35 to $70 for the 1k and 5k, and $50 to $85 for both races.  Parking is $10 per car.  For more information, visit www.missouriwinerun.com or call (314) 569-3005.
