Cedar Lake Cellars, a year-round winery and event center, will host a movie night on Fri., Feb. 2. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the movie “Groundhog Day” will begin at 7:30 p.m. Cedar Lake Cellars is located at 11008 Schreckengast Rd.
“Groundhog Day” is a classic fantasy-comedy film starring Andie MacDowell and Bill Murray, who plays a television weatherman covering an annual Groundhog Day event in Punxsutawney, Penn. and finds himself living the same day over and over again.
The show – which will feature seating on a first-come, first-served basis – is free and open to guests 21 years of age and older. A four-pack offer of an appetizer, popcorn, and two drinks (ranging from spiked hot chocolate and spiked apple cider to red and white wine) will be available for purchase for $30. Guests are invited to wear pajamas, bring blankets, and enjoy the show in the winery’s Barrel Room.
