The city of Union’s building department issued 19 permits in February, down slightly from the 25 issued in the same month last year.

In February 2016, a total of 15 permits were issued and in 2015, 22 permits were issued in February.

The total estimated construction cost for projects is $3,837,026.

New Single-Family Attached — James Cooper, 29, 31, 33 and 35 Lanier Ave., $113,865 each.

Sign — Spire, 6 Progress Parkway, $2,150.

Residential Alteration — Scott and Greg Schuh, 420 Jane Ave., $30,000; Bryan and Megan Dixon, 304 Reinhard, $10,000; Gita Strum, 1017 Bay Hill Blvd., $25,000; and Rick Neace, 637 Bay Hill Blvd., $7,000.
