Some books catch on like wildfire. That was the case with Jojo Moyes bestselling novel “Me Before You.” The book skyrocketed Moyes to fame, and her fans began anxiously waiting her next book.
The English author delivered again with “The Girl You Left Behind,” good but not a page-turning tearjerker, can’t-put-it-down read, like “Me Before You.”
Moyes newest, “One Plus One,” pubs on July 1. The advance review copy has been calling to me from the office bookshelf for several weeks now.
Library Journal gave the book a starred review and calls it an “Amazing novel…about trust, dignity, desperation, and ultimately love…”
Another starred review came from Booklist, and Publisher’s Weekly says “One” is an “Offbeat journey…so satisfying…Moyes’s irrepressible flaws-and-all characters are so memorable.”
Can’t wait to dig into “One Plus One.”
