“The Girl in the Well is Me,” by Karen Rivers, is about a 12-year-old girl named Kammie Summers who has fallen into a well. You learn all about her life as she awaits her rescue, only able to trust the mean popular girls to get her out of the well.

My favorite part of the book is when Kammie talks to her hallucinatory French speaking coyote and the Zombie goats while she’d down in the well. Also, I really enjoyed the inspiring messages in the story, and I think that they are messages or lessons that everybody should follow in their life regardless of who they are.

My opinion of the book is that it was just okay; I tend to prefer a bit more action in books. The novel was pretty good even if it wasn’t exactly my favorite. I think a lot of people would enjoy it; I’m just not one of them.
