Carolyn Mueller, left, author of “Lily, A True Story of Courage and the Joplin Tornado,” and Don Corrigan, author of “Show-Me Nature’s Wrath” made a joint presentation on Tuesday, July 22, at Washington Public Library. Following their presentations, and a question and answer time, the writers signed copies of their books.

Mueller, a zookeeper at the St. Louis Zoo, also is the author of two other books, “Bubbles, the Dwarf Zebu,” and “Happy Birthday St. Louis.”
