Readers of all ages are in for a treat because Marla Frazee is coming to Washington for two events on Thursday, September 7th. That afternoon, from 4:30 to 6 p.m., Frazee will sign copies of her books at Neighborhood Reads in Downtown Washington.
Later that evening, Marla will make a presentation at Washington Public Library at 7 p.m. She will focus on three of her titles, “Boss Baby,” “A Couple of Boys Have the Best Week Ever,” and “Stars,” written by Mary Lyn Ray.
Frazee, an award-winning author/illustrator who hails from California, has an impressive list of titles to her name – many of which have become instant favorites like “Everywhere Babies,” “Roller Coaster,” “All the World,” and “Bossier Baby,” a follow up to “Boss Baby,” centering on an ego-driven baby boy who gets the surprise of his life – a little sister – one who usurps his fisted hold on the parental unit.
An extra surprise for those attending this week’s events will be the opportunity to get a look-see at Frazee’s newest picture book, “It Takes a Village,” written by Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Frazee’s visit to Missouri is being sponsored by: “The Missourian” and Neighborhood Reads Bookstore. Copies of her books will be available for purchase.
