Elizabeth Westoff

Young adult readers will now be able to get a teen’s take on new books by logging on to The Missourian’s Book Blog, MO Books. On the blog they can access reviews by Elizabeth Westoff, a senior at St. Francis Borgia Regional High School, and an avid reader.

Though Elizabeth attests to having a special affection for authors like Tamora Pierce, John Flanagan and J.K. Rowling, she is open to expending her literary horizons.

“I’m really excited to read new books by different authors in new genres,” Elizabeth said. “I hope to learn to write better while I’m at it.”

When Elizabeth isn’t reading, which she does “all of the time,” you can find her playing varsity softball. She has a great affection for horses and dogs, and her favorite subject in school was sophomore English, but this year she’s thoroughly enjoying Woodcarving Two.
