Candlewick Press--Exciting New Books

Happy May Day! Here are a few book briefs, some happenings and literary news.

Next Wednesday, May 7th, if you’re a Friends member, you can give a book and get a book at Washington Public Library. There’s yet another reason to join this very worthy organization.

All members of Friends of the Library are invited to the coffee and book exchange which will be held in the library's lower level meeting room from  9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. This free event is hosted by the Membership Committee. No reservations are required—just drop by and enjoy the morning with Friends and good books.
